We produce high quality barley protein concentrates

Barley: A sustainable land-based crop

Barley is the lowest cost major grain and produced in large quantities in many countries. It is non-GMO, requires less fertilizer and fewer pesticides than other grains while also growing in cold climates. The BPC process uses barley now fed to livestock and does not compete with human food. We produce BPC using an enzymatic process without harsh solvents or chemicals. BPC can be produced from local barley supplies close to feed manufacturers, reducing the carbon footprint associated with transportation of other protein ingredients.

“Interestingly, the most promising diet in this experiment growth wise was the BPC50% + AA diet which performed at a level statistically equal to that of the FM reference diet. Likewise, fish fed the BPC 50% AA diet survived significantly better than fish fed the other diets”
